Request by mail
Please clearly state "Request for the membership application," enclose a self-addressed envelope with a JPY 84 stamp, and mail it to the JSS Administration Center. In turn, we will mail you the necessary forms.
* The Board of JSS will make the decision on membership approval. As the Board of JSS meet only three to four times a year (usually toward the end of March, toward the end of July, and around October or November), it may take a while before your application is officially approved. The membership due will be billed, and materials such as journals will be mailed to you after your membership is approved. You may propose to report in a conference and/or submit a paper to JSS journals during the period between filing a membership application and awaiting its approval.
If there is a change in your information, such as address, affiliation, phone number, and e-mail address, please update the same on the member information management system "SOLTI" or contact the JSS Administration Center by mail, fax, or e-mail.

*Please notify us of the "general/graduate student" category in addition to the name of new affiliated organization when changing affiliation information.
*When you wish to publish on the JSS News information regarding the change in your affiliated institution and contact, please notify the JSS Administration Center by clearly listing the items you would like to publish.
For those who wish to withdraw their membership, please contact the JSS Administration Center by mail, fax, or e-mail.
Please submit your membership due payment to the following bank account of the JSS Executive Office. When there is a change in membership type (general, graduate student, or associate member), please notify the JSS Administration Center beforehand.
